بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ ١
Watteeni wazzaytoon. By the fig and the olive
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ٢
Watoori seeneen. And [by] Mount Sinai
وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ ٣
Wahatha albaladi al-ameen. And [by] this secure city [Makkah],
لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٖ ٤
Laqad khalaqna al-insana fee ahsanitaqweem. We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ ٥
Thumma radadnahu asfala safileen. Then We return him to the lowest of the low,
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونٖ ٦
Illa allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati falahum ajrun ghayrumamnoon. Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ ٧
Fama yukaththibuka baAAdu biddeen. So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?
أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ ٨
Alaysa Allahu bi-ahkami alhakimeen. Is not Allah the most just of judges?
