بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ١
Qul aAAoothu birabbi annas. Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٢
Maliki annas. The Sovereign of mankind.
إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٣
Ilahi annas. The God of mankind,
مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ ٤
Min sharri alwaswasi alkhannas. From the evil of the retreating whisperer -
ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٥
Allathee yuwaswisu fee sudoori annas. Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -
مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ ٦
Mina aljinnati wannas. From among the jinn and mankind."
