بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا ١
WalAAadiyati dabha. By the racers, panting,
فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا ٢
Falmooriyati qadha. And the producers of sparks [when] striking
فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا ٣
Falmugheerati subha. And the chargers at dawn,
فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا ٤
Faatharna bihi naqAAa. Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا ٥
Fawasatna bihi jamAAa. Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ ٦
Inna al-insana lirabbihi lakanood. Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ ٧
Wa-innahu AAala thalikalashaheed. And indeed, he is to that a witness.
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ٨
Wa-innahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeed. And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
۞أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ ٩
Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira mafee alquboor. But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ ١٠
Wahussila ma fee assudoor. And that within the breasts is obtained,
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ ١١
Inna rabbahum bihim yawma-ithinlakhabeer. Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
