بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
١
Arrahman.
The Most Merciful
عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
٢
AAallama alqur-an.
Taught the Qur'an,
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
٣
Khalaqa al-insan.
Created man,
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ
٤
AAallamahu albayan.
[And] taught him eloquence.
ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ
٥
Ashshamsu walqamaru bihusban.
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ
٦
Wannajmu washshajaru yasjudan.
And the stars and trees prostrate.
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
٧
Wassamaa rafaAAahawawadaAAa almeezan.
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ
٨
Alla tatghaw fee almeezan.
That you not transgress within the balance.
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
٩
Waaqeemoo alwazna bilqisti walatukhsiroo almeezan.
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ
١٠
Wal-arda wadaAAahalil-anam.
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.
فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ
١١
Feeha fakihatun wannakhluthatu al-akmam.
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ
١٢
Walhabbu thoo alAAasfiwarrayhan.
And grain having husks and scented plants.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
١٣
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ
١٤
Khalaqa al-insana min salsalinkalfakhkhar.
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.
وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ
١٥
Wakhalaqa aljanna min marijinmin nar.
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
١٦
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ
١٧
Rabbu almashriqayni warabbu almaghribayn.
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
١٨
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ
١٩
Maraja albahrayni yaltaqiyan.
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];
بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٞ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ
٢٠
Baynahuma barzakhun la yabghiyan.
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٢١
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
٢٢
Yakhruju minhuma allu'luo walmarjan.
From both of them emerge pearl and coral.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٢٣
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththibani.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَــَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ
٢٤
Walahu aljawari almunshaatufee albahri kal-aAAlam.
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٢٥
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانٖ
٢٦
Kullu man AAalayha fan.
Everyone upon the earth will perish,
وَيَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
٢٧
Wayabqa wajhu rabbika thooaljalali wal-ikram.
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٢٨
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
يَسۡــَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأۡنٖ
٢٩
Yas-aluhu man fee assamawatiwal-ardi kulla yawmin huwa fee sha'n.
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٣٠
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
٣١
Sanafrughu lakum ayyuha aththaqalan.
We will attend to you, O prominent beings.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٣٢
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
٣٣
Ya maAAshara aljinni wal-insiini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari assamawatiwal-ardi fanfuthoo la tanfuthoonailla bisultan.
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah ].
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٣٤
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
٣٥
Yursalu AAalaykuma shuwathunmin narin wanuhasun fala tantasiran.
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٣٦
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةٗ كَٱلدِّهَانِ
٣٧
Fa-itha inshaqqati assamaofakanat wardatan kaddihan.
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٣٨
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُسۡــَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
٣٩
Fayawma-ithin la yus-alu AAan thanbihiinsun wala jan.
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٤٠
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ
٤١
YuAArafu almujrimoona biseemahumfayu'khathu binnawasee wal-aqdam.
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٤٢
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
٤٣
Hathihi jahannamu allatee yukaththibubiha almujrimoon.
This is Hell, which the criminals deny.
يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ
٤٤
Yatoofoona baynaha wabayna hameeminan.
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٤٥
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
٤٦
Waliman khafa maqama rabbihijannatan.
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٤٧
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ
٤٨
Thawata afnan.
Having [spreading] branches.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٤٩
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ
٥٠
Feehima AAaynani tajriyan.
In both of them are two springs, flowing.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٥١
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ
٥٢
Feehima min kulli fakihatinzawjan.
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٥٣
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
مُتَّكِــِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ
٥٤
Muttaki-eena AAala furushin bata-inuhamin istabraqin wajana aljannatayni dan.
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٥٥
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
٥٦
Feehinna qasiratu attarfilam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jan.
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٥٧
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
٥٨
Kaannahunna alyaqootu walmarjan.
As if they were rubies and coral.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٥٩
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ
٦٠
Hal jazao al-ihsani illaal-ihsan.
Is the reward for good [anything] but good?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٦١
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
٦٢
Wamin doonihima jannatan.
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٦٣
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ
٦٤
Mudhammatan.
Dark green [in color].
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٦٥
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
٦٦
Feehima AAaynani naddakhatan.
In both of them are two springs, spouting.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٦٧
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخۡلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ
٦٨
Feehima fakihatun wanakhlunwarumman.
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٦٩
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
فِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ
٧٠
Feehinna khayratun hisan.
In them are good and beautiful women -
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٧١
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
حُورٞ مَّقۡصُورَٰتٞ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ
٧٢
Hoorun maqsooratun feealkhiyam.
Fair ones reserved in pavilions -
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٧٣
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
٧٤
Lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum walajan.
Untouched before them by man or jinni -
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٧٥
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -
مُتَّكِــِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٖ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ
٧٦
Muttaki-eena AAala rafrafin khudrinwaAAabqariyyin hisan.
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
٧٧
Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikumatukaththiban.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
٧٨
Tabaraka ismu rabbika theealjalali wal-ikram.
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
