بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

بِّسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ١
Inna anzalnahu fee laylatialqadr. Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ ٢
Wama adraka ma laylatualqadr. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ ٣
Laylatu alqadri khayrun min alfi shahr. The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ ٤
Tanazzalu almala-ikatu warroohufeeha bi-ithni rabbihim min kulli amr. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ ٥
Salamun hiya hatta matlaAAialfajr. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
