بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ١
Araayta allathee yukaththibu biddeen. Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ ٢
Fathalika allathee yaduAAAAualyateem. For that is the one who drives away the orphan
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ ٣
Wala yahuddu AAalataAAami almiskeen. And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ ٤
Fawaylun lilmusalleen. So woe to those who pray
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ ٥
Allatheena hum AAan salatihimsahoon. [But] who are heedless of their prayer -
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ ٦
Allatheena hum yuraoon. Those who make show [of their deeds]
وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ ٧
WayamnaAAoona almaAAoon. And withhold [simple] assistance.
